V-SHAPE OR INVERTED TRIANGLE
GOAL: DRAW ATTENTION AWAY FROM THE SHOULDERS AND TORSO TO BALANCE THE SILHOUETTE.
- Choose single-breasted jackets, and straight-lined, jackets.
- Choose brighter colors in pants and skirts to detract from a broad torso.
- Suggested styles: narrow sleeves, narrow and deep necklines.
- Avoid: boat necklines, bustline details or pockets, empire waists, boxy jackets wide belts, sweaters with a high neck.
